FC Bartlesville Buffaloes delivered a performance for the ages on Saturday, dismantling FC Comets 8-0 In front of a crowd of 250 people at Custer Stadium.
It is worth noting that this match was between the first and second team on the table, so home crowd was in for a good game.
The result of 8-0 marks the biggest win in club history and a resounding statement as the Buffaloes continue their strong form this season.
The scoring started with a moment of brilliance from Ivan Ristic, who struck a stunning direct free-kick from 30 yards out to give the Buffaloes an early lead. It was his second free-kick goal of the season, further cementing his reputation as a set-piece specialist.

Just minutes later, Cristobal Goldberg provide his first assist of the night, sending a low cross into the box for Julian Tovar, who finished easily from close range. Goldberg wasn’t done. On the third goal, he threaded a pinpoint through ball to Brandon O’Rourke, who calmly slotted it in with his weaker left foot.

This marked Brandon’s first appearance of the season, and both the club and fans were thrilled to see him back in action—and back on the scoresheet.
The Buffaloes' fourth came courtesy of a beautiful bit of teamwork. Julian Tovar, cutting in from the left, delivered a right-footed cross into the box. Uros Rosic controlled it on his chest and finished effortlessly with his left foot. Just before halftime, Rosic added another goal, sending the Buffaloes into the break with a commanding 5-0 lead.

The second half began much like the first—fast, aggressive, and clinical. Uros Rosic continued his rampage, scoring two more goals to bring his total to four on the night. Luka Djurovic provided the assist on one of the second-half goals, adding to the team’s overall display of unselfish, attacking football.
In his first game for FC Bartlesville, Carson Copenhaver was also able to add a goal to his name after a calm one-touch finish from a cross by Simeon Adair. It was a memorable debut for Copenhaver, who capped off a night of celebration and dominance for the home side.

With a final scoreline of 8-0, the Buffaloes celebrated their most dominant win ever, showcasing their offensive depth, team chemistry, and hunger to push even further this season.
They’ll look to carry this momentum into their next match on Saturday, May 10, at Hicks Park when they will face Tulsa Athletic. The match is scheduled for a 2 pm kick-off.
