A Tough End to a Memorable Season

Last night’s championship match didn’t go the way we hoped, but it was a game that showed the heart and resilience of FC Bartlesville. In front of our biggest crowd of the season, we battled back from a 2-0 deficit to tie it 2-2 against the Little Rock Rangers—only to be edged out by a late goal that sealed a 3-2 final.
While the loss stings, we couldn’t be prouder of our team’s fight and our fans’ incredible support. The energy in the stands helped fuel our comeback, and even though we didn’t quite hit our goal of 1,000 fans, the atmosphere was electric—our best of the year.

One of the most special moments of the night came before the first whistle, as local Special Olympians walked out with our players. At halftime, they took the field to play a mini match with our team—a powerful reminder of what this club is really about: community, inclusion, and joy.

This isn’t the ending we wanted, but we’re not done. FC Bartlesville will be back—stronger, hungrier, and more united than ever. Thank you for standing with us this season. The road to next year’s championship starts now.
